Ed Setzler


Ed has more than 25 years of diverse planning, project management, and facilities consulting experience in the military, government, commercial, and education sectors.  Ed leads predesign for CROFT which includes responsibility for project planning, programming, budgeting, contracting, site selection, due-diligence, and construction management support.

Prior to joining CROFT, Ed spent more than a decade as a project and program manager for a global infrastructure firm where he managed environmental, facility design, construction, and energy services for federal and commercial clients worldwide.  Ed served also in the US Army as a commander and operations planner for military deployments throughout the Unites States, Europe, North Africa, and the Persian Gulf.

Ed and his wife Tracie have been married for over 20 years and have four children: David, Caleb, Sarah, and Susannah.  Ed is passionate about young people and enjoys team sports, golf, snow skiing, hunting, and Boy Scouting.  Ed earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Furman University and has served his community in a number of civic capacities including youth athletic coach and Assistant Scoutmaster.  Ed and Tracie live in Acworth and attend the St. Stephen Orthodox Christian Church in Hiram where they are involved in youth ministry.
