About Kip

With over 20 years of experience, Kip is a hands-on executive who takes pride and ownership in every project he manages. His attention to detail and high level of proactive communication make his clients want to work with him time and time again. His project experience covers all aspects of design, construction and program management and across multiple market sectors such as education, industrial, criminal justice, mission critical, municipal, public safety and telecommunications. His municipal facility experience includes justice and administration facilities, detention centers, animal welfare centers, public safety training centers, courts, police and fire stations, vehicle maintenance centers, senior centers and parks. In addition to facility design services, Kip is highly experienced in program management, construction management, site feasibility studies, energy and water auditing, commissioning, retro-commissioning, renewable energy applications, facility condition assessments and asset management.

Graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Kip received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and later achieved registration as a professional engineer in 1997. He started his career in the architectural, engineering and construction industry as an electrical engineer and worked his way to Vice President and Principal of a national design firm of 250 staff members.
With his passion for continuous learning and improvement, Kip moved his focus to the construction side of the industry as a Business Unit Leader for one of the top 5 construction firms in the United States. Levering these experiences, Kip brings a unique blend of design and construction expertise to Croft & Associates.

A true Georgia boy at heart, Kip grew up in Warner Robins, GA, where he met his future wife. Kip and his wife, Amanda, have been married over 20 years, and have three children – two sons and a daughter – living in the Dacula school cluster of Gwinnett County. Through raising three active kids, coaching a variety of different sports has become a hobby and passion for Kip as well as serving his community through his family’s involvement at Hebron Baptist Church.
