CROFT provided needs assessment, master planning, and full architectural and engineering design for a new 17,000 SF mission critical facility. This state-of-the-art facility houses the county Emergency Operations Center and 24-hour 911 Call Center for a rapidly growing county with a population of over 180,000.  The facility includes a 3 apparatus bay Fire Station and is located adjacent to the apron of the Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport.

The secured operations area includes 11 dispatch stations, command offices, central server and equipment room for data/radio/UPS, conference room, kitchen, break room, bathrooms with showers and lockers.  The EOC contains lobby and reception accessible to the public and secure areas for training. 

The Emergency Operations Center has 18 data capable consoles, offices and bunk rooms and is equipped with a full battery and emergency generator back-up power system, full emergency generator for back-up power, and redundant HVAC and electrical systems.
