Roswell Street Baptist Church

Once the jewel of Marietta, Roswell Street Baptist Church now finds itself in need of some major upgrades. It has been an honor getting to journey alongside this church. If you are from the Marietta community, than it is likely that at one point or another in your life you attended this church. Now it is CROFT’s joy to serve this church with the hope of bringing life back to it’s walls. This project has been divided into phases.

Phase 1: Programming & Masterplanning
CROFT was able to help the church cast a vision for what they desire the church and community to look like over the next 10 years. Laying out a design map as this congregation seeks to build a lasting legacy. Part of this vision casting included redesigning the Worship Center. Design plans include removing the existing balcony, adding stadium seating, increasing the stage with a lofted choir riser, and updating the aesthetics of the facility. All of these changes will transform the space into a more functional and intimate worship experience.

Phase 2: New Side Entry and Sports Fields
As a vital part of the community, Roswell Street is starting a new sports outreach for young children and their families. Buildings are being demolished, the western exterior is being renovated, and a new multipurpose sports field is being design in order to have greater impacts with the children in the community.
