Jim is passionate about serving clients – and for more than three decades has served clients in the mission critical, government, public safety, educational, commercial, hospitality, religious, and industrial sectors. As President, Jim has structured Croft to allow him to work face-to-face with clients every day as a design and project execution leader and enjoys mentoring the firm’s design and management staff.
Jim has been a principal in a nationwide design firm where he helped grow a multidisciplinary architectural and engineering practice from 30 to more than 170 staff members in less than a decade. Throughout his exceptionally diverse career, Jim has won numerous design awards, managed 14 prime federal IDIQ contracts, and led projects worldwide for the US military, 1996 Olympic Games, and Fortune 500 companies.
Jim and his wife Leslie have been married for over 30 years and have three adult children. An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf, and has played competitive baseball and softball for nearly 50 years. A native of Georgia, Jim attended Georgia Tech where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of Architecture. Jim and Leslie live in Acworth where they attend NorthStar Church and are active in a variety of community and ministry organizations.
