Touted as a “One-Stop-Shop,” this renovated space provides private consultation areas for students seeking help with their accounts, financial aid, registrar and other campus services. CROFT designed a new Welcome Center and student services area, serves current student needs and future potential student inquiries. This 9,100 SF of newly renovated space provides an efficient customer service help-desk for existing students and will be a great first impression of GGC to future students. New technology implemented into the center includes a large video wall featuring state of-the-art touchscreen monitors where students can explore majors, learn about campus news and watch videos. The re-design responsibly sourced materials including Low-e glass, refurbished wood from GGC’s basketball court and other campus building material. The project was completed in a two phased approach to minimize the disruption to student services.
